Cosmos are bushy plants that bear many finely cut, green leaves.
Inlate summer and fall, the stems are topped with white, pink or red flowers.
The single or semi-double, daisy-like blooms can grow up to 4 inches wide.
Cosmos are fast growing.
This makes them good for filling spaces left by early blooming annuals and parennials.
Dead head frequently to encourage more blooms. Spead some for self-sowing.
